Welcome to LibbyLammy

   I made my first foot pillow in a studio apartment, sewing machine on the floor, and knowing nothing about sewing — the year was 2024. I spent weeks taking my machine apart and putting it back together again, convincing myself that I was going to be someone that sews. The LibbyLammy brand became official in February of 2025 when I did my first market in Bozeman, Montana. I convinced some incredible local makers that I was legit (I wasn't) and they excitedly let me participate. The market was a success and I knew that I could turn this silly idea into something real. I spent the next few weeks perfecting the Foot Pillow design and working every day to turn my new found expert sewing skills into a true art. 

   Now, I am based in Missoula, Montana, selling at a store front here in town, and working to make a name for the niche market of handmade, funky, foot shaped pillows. Through the LibbyLammy brand, I make a handful of different types of home decor including (but not limited to) beaded garland, pennant banners, ottomans, and a decorative Libby calendar — see the blog section. Everything is made with the Earth in mind. All fabrics, even down to the thread, are sourced second hand. LibbyLammy's goal is to create new more than we consume new. We are always growing and taking on new challenges, and I hope it is that way for a long time.
